Success-Fee Agreement
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This is a plain-language summary provided for convenience and is not legal advice.
In short: BidPros charges 5% of the awarded contract value, and only when you achieve a verified win on an opportunity you sourced through BidPros. No win, no fee. Submitting a bid never costs anything.
1. The Fee
When you achieve a verified win (as defined in section 3) on a BidPros-sourced opportunity (as defined in section 4), you agree to pay BidPros a success fee equal to 5% of the awarded contract value — the total value of the contract you were awarded, in the currency of the award, before applicable taxes.
2. When the Fee Is Due
The fee is due only on a verified win. It is never triggered by:
- Joining, using, or keeping your BidPros account (the Service is free).
- Being matched to, claiming, drafting, pricing, or submitting a bid.
- Reaching a shortlist, or any outcome short of an actual award.
If you do not win, you owe nothing. There is no subscription and no per-bid charge.
3. How a Win Is Verified
A “verified win” requires two things together:
- A public award notice — a publicly available record showing that the contract was awarded to your business; and
- Your confirmation — your acknowledgment of the award, supported where needed by your award letter or purchase order.
BidPros confirms the win against these before any fee is invoiced. A bid without a confirmed award is never a verified win, and never triggers a fee.
4. Scope — BidPros-Sourced Opportunities Only
This fee applies only to opportunities sourced through BidPros — an opportunity that was surfaced to you, matched to you, or claimed by you within the Service. It does not apply to:
- Your own outside deals, direct relationships, or contracts you found elsewhere.
- Work you were already pursuing independently of BidPros.
- Renewals or unrelated contracts that did not originate through the Service.
5. Invoicing & Payment
Once a win is verified, BidPros issues an invoice or payment link for the 5% fee. We do not store your card and we do not auto-charge you; the fee is billed after the award is confirmed. Payment terms are stated on the invoice. If a portion of an awarded contract is later reduced or cancelled by the buyer before you are paid for it, contact us — we will work with you in good faith to adjust the fee to the value actually awarded.
6. Relationship to the Terms
This Success-Fee Agreement forms part of, and should be read together with, the Terms of Service. Questions? Reach us at hello@bidpros.ca.
